HUM 134 - The Portugal Experience3
Course Description: The Portugal Fellowship experience is a 15-hour history and culture survey course, taught on ground at MCC and a two-week summer school program, held in Portugal in May-June. Students will continue studying the history and culture of Portugal at the University of Lisbon. Lectures, excursions and a service-learning component will be part of this study abroad program. Students will also have the opportunity to share their experiences in Portugal with the MCC community upon completion of the course.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of 12 credits in a degree program at MCC with a GPA of at least 2.5. Travel course participants must be at least 18 years old by the time of travel.
General Education Elective(s): Humanities, Social Science
Note(s): In order to enroll in this course, a student must apply and be accepted.
