PHL 108 - Applied Ethics in Dental Hygiene3
Course Description: This course introduces applied ethics in the dental hygiene profession. The student applies rational standards for evaluation of ehtical dilemmas that arise in practice. The course addresses standards for eithical, legal and professional responsibilty.
ISLOs: This course supports student development of Personal and Professional Development, Social Responsibility, and Critical Thinking. Prerequisite(s): Completion of DHY 200 with a C or better General Education Elective(s): Humanities Note(s): Open to Dental Hygiene degree students only. This course has been approved to meet the Core curriculum General Education Requirement.
