MAT 291 - Calculus II For Engineering and Science4
Course Description: Topics include Reimann Sums; integrating with the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus; applications such as finding area between two curves, volume of solids of revolution, work, force, and arc length; integrating trigonometric, inverse trigonometric, logarithmic and exponential functions, integration techniques including partial fractions, integration by parts, trigonometric and table methods; evaluating improper integrals; Infinite series; Taylor and MacLauren series; convergence tests. Prerequisite(s): Completion of MAT 290 with a C or better. General Education Elective(s): Math all programs Note(s): A TI - 83+ or 84+ graphing calculator is required.
