Course Description: This course examines the legal rights, requirements, and responsibilities of media makers and the ethical issues facing decision-makers in all fields of communication. Students critically examine ethical principles and the application of the First Amendment as it relates to communication and the media.
ISLOs: This course supports student development of Written and Oral Communications, Social Responsibility, and Personal and Professional Development. Prerequisite(s): Eligible for ENG 101 General Education Elective(s): Humanities Note(s): This course has been approved to meet the Core curriculum General Education Requirement.
