Course Description: This course is an introduction to the study of contemporary and historically recent human cultures. Topics to be covered include theory, culture, research methods, communication, subsistence patterns, economic systems, kinship, descent, family, religion, art, medicine, globalization, and cultural change. Prerequisite(s): Eligible for ENG 101 General Education Elective(s): Behavioral Science Note(s): This course has been approved to meet the Core Curriculum General Education requirement.
