Program Description:
The Arts Administration Certificate gives students an introduction to the management and leadership skills needed to successfully work in the non-profit arts sector (dance, theater, music, and, visual arts organizations.) Students will be prepared to transfer to a college or university, or to work for profit and non-profit arts organizations.

Career and Transfer Outlook:
The Massachusetts region includes a significant number of performance venues and non-profits involved in the arts, such as, the Boys and Girls Clubs, all of which are potential employers. This program also would provide a good introduction to management in the arts that might be of interest to those pursuing careers in business or non-profit management.
