Student Success Starts Here
Welcome to Middlesex Community College! There are many pathways to success at MCC and whether your goal is to start a degree, finish what you started, or change careers, we are here to help you achieve your dreams.
As one of the largest and most comprehensive community colleges in the state, Middlesex offers more than 80 degree and certificate programs - plus hundreds of noncredit courses - on our campuses in Bedford and Lowell, and online.
We take great pride in helping our students select a field of study that excites them, find an empowering Academic Pathway, and discover coursework that engages and challenges them. We provide creative scheduling options - like accelerated three- and eight-week “mini-mesters” - that can make college-going easier for working students.
At MCC, you can find a path to your academic and career goals while saving time and money - all while enjoying the support and guidance of our dedicated faculty and staff.
Success happens at Middlesex through first-class learning environments. Our new state-of-the art Academic Arts Center is now home to our performing-arts programs, as well as our new Technical Theatre, and Arts Administration programs. We are also broadening our STEM offerings with Chemical Engineering and Organic Chemistry.
For more than 20 years, MCC has been a leader in online education and we offer a rapidly expanding roster of online and hybrid courses. Each year, we schedule more than 300 unique online courses, which translates into 120+ online sections each semester.
This college is also focused on promoting accelerated paths to successful careers. Our new “A2M” partnership program with Northeastern University enables our Biotech grads to join an accelerated pipeline to earn bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biotechnology. And through continuing programs in Advanced Manufacturing and Cybersecurity, you can gain the knowledge and skills that will prepare you for a rewarding career in the knowledge-based economy.
Middlesex is also acutely aware that we are educating the next generation of community leaders. We encourage all our students to go out, get involved, become civically engaged, and make a difference - while respecting and supporting all members of the community.
These innovative programs and initiatives are supported by dedicated educational professionals across the college, both inside and outside the classroom. It’s our pleasure to serve you.
All the best,
Dr. James C. Mabry
