IDS 115 - General Education Seminar: STEM Explorations

Through discussion, hands-on experimentation and dialogue with MCC STEM faculty from areas such as engineering, chemistry, physics, life sciences, computer science, IT, computer aided design, environmental science, and geosciences, students will gain insight into STEM disciplines with the goal of selecting a STEM major.

Prerequisite(s): Eligible for ENG 071 and ENG 060; Eligible for MAT 080 or Math Module 70 or 80.
General Education Elective(s): General Education
Note(s): This course will be part of a three credit learning community “STEM Explorations” which will also include General Education Career Exploration and First Year Experience Seminars.
