Bedford Campus and Lowell Campus - Day and Evening       NOTE: Honors Courses - Days in Lowell

Program Description:

The Global Studies Associate in Arts, Liberal Arts and Sciences degree program is an interdisciplinary program of study that examines social, cultural, environmental and political issues within a world historical context. The program challenges students to critically evaluate the commonalities and differences within various cultural and social frameworks, and looks at relationships between international and national systems that influence the world community. This program qualifies for MassTransfer, which guarantees credit transfer to Massachusetts state colleges and the University of Massachusetts.

Career and Transfer Outlook:

Most students in Global Studies continue their studies toward a bachelor’s degree. Students may pursue various careers in teaching, government, business or law.

Helpful Hints:

Students are encouraged to begin taking courses aimed at completing their English and math requirements immediately upon entering the college. Also, students who place into reading courses on the college placement test should complete that requirement without delay.
