ELL 086 - Communication For ELL II

This course will sharpen listening and speaking skills needed for participation in content-area courses. Effective composition and delivery of spoken English in both informal and public situations will be developed through debates, role-playing, dialogues, oral presentations, and lecture and note-taking practice. A maximum of six credits of ELL 075 (Grammar for ELL - Advanced I), ELL 076 (Grammar for ELL - Advanced II), ELL 085 (Communication for ELL I), or ELL 086 (Communication for ELL II) may be applied as Humanities electives.

Prerequisite(s): ELL 085 or placement by exam
General Education Elective(s): Humanities
