ART 160 - Street Photography3
Course Description: This course introduces students to the art of street photography, focusing on capturing candid moments and documenting public spaces. Students will explore how to approach street photography, ethically engage with subjects, and use visual storytelling to reflect the world around them. The course will cover essential technical skills such as camera operation, composition, lighting, and post- production. In addition, students will examine the history and cultural significance of street photography, studying influential photographers who have shaped the genre. No prior experience in photography is necessary. Students will be encouraged to experiment and develop their unique photographic styles through practical assignments.
