CAD 232 - Engineering Technology- CAD Initial Internship Course2
Course Description: This is the first of a two-part internship course that provides students with the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge they have developed in the classroom to a real-world experience. Students will work in a program-related paid internship position approved for their program for a minimum of 200 hours. The student will be evaluated by their internship supervisor and will require at least a satisfactory evaluation in order to receive credit for the internship. In addition to the working hour requirement, the student will participate in a series of workshops throughout the semester. At the end of the semester, the student will submit a written report on an approved topic that is associated with the internship. This course is designed to support students as they begin their learn and Earn experience. Prerequisite(s): Completion of CAD 169, CAD 110 and CAD 230. Department approval prior to enrollment.
