ART 278 - Coding for Web Design

Course Description: This course is designed to teach students the fundamental coding skills required for creating professional-looking websites. Students will build on the skills learned in Intro to Web Design and UI/UX by learning and integrating the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, the core building blocks of web design. Students will also revisit web design tools used in previous classes to create visually appealing web pages. Throughout the course, students will work on practical assignments and projects that will enable them to apply their newly acquired skills to interface designs. By the end of the course, students will have the ability to create interactive websites from scratch, which are optimized for different devices and platforms.
