ART 161 - Typography I3
Course Description: Typography I is an introductory course that explores the fundamentals of typography. Students will learn how to use type to communicate information and messages effectively. Through exercises and projects, students will understand the anatomy of type, type classification, and the principles of typeface selection, layout, and hierarchy. Prerequisite(s): Completion of ART 104 and ART 153 General Education Elective(s): Humanities Note(s): Visual Design majors must receive a C or better in this course to progress in the program.
