ART 126 - Painting I

Course Description: Painting I is an introductory course that teaches students the fundamental skills and techniques to create paintings using different mediums. Students will explore different painting techniques and learn about composition, color theory, mark-making, and texture in painting. Through various exercises and projects, students will understand the technical aspects and the conceptual ideas behind painting. Students will begin to explore their own artistic visual voice.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of ART 121
