BUS 165 - Café Management

Course Description: This course is designed to provide students with the skills needed to operate a successful coffee café. This course will cover the practical skills needed for day to day operations as well as the business skills needed to make a café financially successful. Students will have the opportunity to participate in the creation, supervision, and daily operation of a café on the Lowell campus.
Prerequisite(s): Minimum of 4 courses completed prior to enrollment in this course
Note(s): Students should have a minimum of 12 credits completed prior to registering for this course. Student will complete this course in one semester and then actively run a café in the Federal Building the next semester. Students will be paid through work study funds or from the revenue of the café. Funding for this start up has been approved by MCC.
