With Equity at Its Core

I am honored to serve as MCC’s 5th President and to continue promoting our mission of equity to transform lives and shape futures. MCC has long been recognized as an innovative and transformative place to work and learn. Together, we will foster an environment that is equitable and accessible and offers strong guided pathways to stable careers and futures.

Our students make MCC so special. You each have a unique story that we as educators must hear. Whether you are a high school student or an adult learner, an immigrant or a career changer, you have experiences, skills, talents, cultures and identities that we need to celebrate, recognize and honor as a crucial part of your educational journey.

My mission is to make sure that each of you experience MCC as a welcoming and engaging institution that leads to numerous possibilities during and after your time here. Our devoted faculty and staff are fully committed to helping you on your educational path. We will work with each of you to identify your personal, academic and professional goals as you hone your strengths and develop new skills that will position you to transfer to a four-year school or advance in your chosen career.

Looking forward, Middlesex will continue to put our students first, meeting each learner where they are and helping each and every student on their individualized path to success.

Thank you for choosing MCC as your educational partner.

Phil Sisson

President, Middlesex Community College
