CRJ 121 - Contemporary Policing

Course Description: This course examines contemporary issues facing law enforcement agencies. It includes an overview of police reforms, and the impact of new strategies on policy, programs, technology, and management. Attention is paid to philosophies and approaches used to address: training; diversity; racial equity; and crime and quality of life issues.

Prerequisite(s): Eligible for ENG 101.
