THE 112 - Acting for Film/TV

This is an introductory course in the theory and techniques of acting for film and television, comparing the differences between stage acting and acting for the camera. Scenes and commercials are enacted and played back on videotape for class critiquing. This course will not only prepare the student with the fundamentals of basic techniques through such activities as: commercial work, analysis of film and television scripts, developing knowledge of the technical side of camera work and the study of the business of acting.
