When Middlesex was founded more than 40 years ago, we had no idea what the future would hold. I’m very proud of the fact that, through hard work and continuous innovation, this college has grown to become one of the largest and most comprehensive community colleges in Massachusetts. MCC’s outstanding track record is due to a constant focus on student success.
Our dedicated faculty and staff are here to help you succeed in the classroom, in the workplace, in your community, and in life. Whether you are interested in earning a degree or certificate, enhancing your professional skills, training your workforce, or taking personal-enrichment courses, we are here to help you achieve your goal.
We know how busy life can be. MCC offers courses during the day, evening, weekend, on our Bedford and Lowell campuses, and online. In fact, we now offer 15 programs that can be completed entirely online.
Middlesex is also dedicated to being the community’s college. This year, we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of our nationally recognized Service-Learning Program, which combines community service with classroom learning. Over the years, more than 8,000 MCC students have dedicated more than 170,000 volunteer hours to the community. Service-Learning enables our students to gain a deeper understanding of the courses and disciplines they are studying, as well as an enhanced sense of civic responsibility.
