Program Description:
The Web Publishing Certificate program prepares students to design, develop and publish Internet or intranet websites for individuals, departments, small businesses or nonprofit organizations. The program provides a core of Web publishing and design courses and a choice of electives that enable students to emphasize particular skills. The program also includes a capstone course in which students work in teams to complete projects similar to those found in the workplace. This certificate program is designed for individuals with basic computer literacy skills (word processing, file management) and familiarity with the Internet (Web searching, e-mail, etc.).
Career and Transfer Outlook:
Graduates of the program can anticipate employment in various industries with departments requiring Internet or intranet Web design, maintenance and support. Graduates of the program may be employed in a capacity involving Web support.
Helpful Hints:
Students should complete Introduction to Web Publishing (ITC 125) as soon as possible.

Graduates of the Web Publishing Certificate program are prepared to:
