BUS 340 - International Marketing3Formerly BU 3211 An introduction to the basic principles involved in the marketing of goods and services internationally. Emphasis is placed on the differences in marketing opportunities, practices, and constraints between the U.S. domestic markets and the markets among other nations of the world. Topics include: determining feasibility of export/import, obtaining foreign agents to handle distribution and special licensing, and special packaging according to the environmental conditions. Prerequisite(s): BUS 110 (BU 1101) or BUS 111 (BU 3110) or permission of instructor.
